Agricultural Education at Wesley Wells Farms

At Wesley Wells Farms, we believe in cultivating curiosity and growing knowledge through hands-on, real-world learning. As a working family farm, we’re passionate about sharing the importance of agriculture with the next generation. That’s why we’ve developed a variety of engaging and age-appropriate educational experiences that connect children and families with the land, the food they eat, and the science behind it all.

Whether you’re a teacher planning a field trip, a homeschooling parent looking for an enriching day on the farm, or a caregiver wanting to introduce little ones to farm life in a fun and gentle way—our educational programs offer something for everyone.

Story Time on the Farm

Perfect for toddlers and preschoolers, this monthly ag-literacy program features a themed story, a hands-on ag-tivity, and time to explore the farm. It’s a magical way to introduce young children to agriculture and outdoor learning.

Homeschool Days

Designed specifically for homeschooling families and co-ops, these monthly events include station-based learning by age group, hands-on STEM lessons, and seasonal farm fun. Each month’s theme ties directly to real farm practices and agricultural science.

Field Trips

Our field trips are designed for all age levels and include a guided farm tour, animal visits, a seasonal u-pick experience, hay ride, and an interactive lesson based on the month’s agricultural theme. Available for schools, co-ops, and private groups.
