Frequently Asked Questions
What IS a CSA anyway?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture—a way for you to buy fresh, seasonal food directly from a local farm. When you join our CSA, you’re purchasing a “share” of our harvest. Each week for 6 weeks, you’ll receive a box full of fresh-picked produce grown right here at Wesley Wells Farms. It’s a fun and meaningful way to eat with the seasons, support local farming, and enjoy delicious food you can feel good about.
How do I sign up?
Signing up is easy! Just fill out our quick registration form in the comments. From there, you’ll choose your CSA box option and any add-ons you’d like—like farm-fresh eggs, flower bouquets, or locally raised meats. Once you’re signed up, we’ll send you all the details you need before the first pickup on September 30th. But hurry—registration closes in one week!
What veggies will it include?
Each CSA box is packed with a rotating mix of our farm’s freshest seasonal vegetables—hand-picked and ready for your table. This fall, you can expect favorites like squash, zucchini, sweet corn, okra, green beans, lettuce, collards, broccoli, carrots, radishes, turnips, cucumbers, pie pumpkins, and more. We’ll keep things exciting each week with a variety of colors, textures, and flavors—plus a few recipe ideas to help you use it all!
What if I don’t like what’s included?
That’s the fun (and challenge) of a CSA—you get to try new things and eat with the seasons! While we can’t offer swaps or substitutions at this time, we’ll include recipes and tips each week to help you enjoy everything in your box. And who knows? You might just discover a new favorite! If there’s something you know you won’t use, it’s also a great chance to share with a friend or neighbor.
And if I love it?
That’s what we hope for! If you fall in love with your CSA experience, we’d love to have you back for our next season. Many of our members tell us they eat healthier, waste less, and feel more connected to where their food comes from. Plus, supporting a local farm means you’re making a real difference in your community. Share your favorite recipes or unboxing photos with us—we love seeing how you enjoy your farm-fresh produce!
